CHRISTIAN LACROIX JEWELRY! Can you say FAB?!
I found these beauties on a recent trip to Paris at the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt flea market www.marchauxpuces-saintouen.com in one of the over 2,500 stalls, shops and vintage stores that house there. This particular flea market is known as the oldest and largest in Paris. A MUST see! The proprietor of the little vintage store I stumbled upon advised that one of Rihanna’s stylists had purchased the very necklace she is wearing in this picture at her store. Couture designer Christian Lacroix launched his jewelry line in 1989 and has been coveted by fashionistas ever since.
On the same Paris trip, my husband and I stayed at a boutique hotel on the Left Bank or (“La Rive Gauche”) side of the Seine River; the Vice Versa Hotel. A few miles from the Eiffel Tower, each room of this beautiful hotel is decorated after The Seven Deadly Sins. Lust, Gluttony, Greed… all can be found here. You won’t know which room you will lay your head down in until you arrive. Our room was the ENVY room. Although we normally like to stay in international chain hotels, this was really a pleasant change.
