I love casual lunches with friends. Friends don’t normally care what you wear but casual does not mean roll out of bed and slap on whatever is on the floor. You’ve got to put some thought into it.
I am wearing a Forever 21 Utility Jacket, Old Navy Heart and Soul Sweatshirt, (sweatshirt now on sale!) leggings and Dr. Scholl’s Flame boot.
The necklace is from Honeysuckle Lane Boutique and the earrings are JewelMint.
My husband calls these my orthopedic boots. (I’m sorry…what? The thought of me wearing orthopedic anything is like the thought of grandma’s teeth without grandma…yick! )
They are pretty comfy-schmomfy, however. (Perhaps I should reconsider this orthopedic thing?)
And, look at what I almost wore for lunch that is sooo coming back in style…
EAR CUFFS!! Mine is from JewelMint.
Repossi
Although I did rock the ear cuffs the last time they were in fashion, I opted not to wear mine to lunch – because if I have to choose between cuffs – I’d much rather go for this one!
This NEVER goes out of style.
Who knew Dr. Scholl’s made cool boots? Love ’em.
Orthopedic- PAH-LEAZZZEE!Love them!
Can you walk a mile in those shoes ?????
I could RUN a mile in these shoes.

Thank you my friend!
Dying for the Repossi cuff!
I so agree!!!
On anyone else, this outfit would look awful. On you, it is couture! How do you do that? It is an amazing talent!
Ahhhh – schucks… those rockin’ boots would make anyone look good.
You inspire me – making a commitment now to put thought into weekend casual! My husband and son deserve it 🙂
Thanks, Lisa! (I do confess that I sometimes just want to venture out in my jammie pants!)
You truly make me feel young again.. as if I can wear what I want!!! of course I look like a hippie but I’m ok with that..
It truly takes talent to put together such an inexpensive outfit and make it look like a million$$$!
You make it all look so good !
it’s just the boots!
