Ok, so after like the fifth girlfriend asked me if I was familiar with Uno de 50, I was starting to feel kind of lame. Of course I know about Uno de 50! What am I? Some kind of fashion rookie?
umm, what the heck is Uno de 50?
Only the coolest jewelry from Madrid Spain. I’ve mentioned in previous posts my obsession with anything from Spain: Rioja and tapas, melón con jamón, Gaudi architecture ~ and, of course ~ Carolina Herrera and Zara.
When I think of Spain, I think Sophisticated. It’s chichi, citified, swank…just like Uno de 50 is.
(I’m wearing the Toma Chapa bracelet, but I had initially stalked the above Ibiza bracelet. Uno de 50 has so many others to choose from though).
Uno de 50 started in the late 1990’s, originally only creating 50 units of each design – thus the name. The company has since expanded their horizons, but they do still create limited editions for their loyal collectors.
My neck called…it said it needed the Cleopiedra.
The Agave belt – now permanently embedded in my brain.
Check out the huge selection of rings. The Lazo is fun and I’m told EVERYONE wants this one.
Anything but dull earrings.
The fact that Uno de 50 has been around for some 15 + years and I’m just NOW hearing about them?
I know, girl… I can’t believe it either.
That cuff makes you look like you are from Spain !
Don’t feel bad. You’re not the only one to just learn about Uno de 50. Besides, I see that blinking look all the time–usually when I’m trying to explain something in French! Great, stylish stuff today!
This is one you can share with the hubby…I have and mine loves their designs for men. Very affordable, too. I should have known you’d know!!
I KNEW that of all of the people that would view this post, YOU would know about Uno de 50. Yes, the Mens stuff is cool too.
I freely admit… this post is the first time I’ve heard of Uno de 50. It’s never too late to discover something fabulous. Thanks!
There is an article in today’s ABQ Journal about a trunk show being held this weekend at Schushop, 109-B Carlisle SE, in Nob Hill. The shop owner is previewing some of her own sow and boot designs. They sound pricey, but they are very pretty (at least what is pictured in the article). Thought the fashion-forward among your followers might want to know about it.
I read that also. I’d like to meet her.
Love the stuff. I have the Ibiza . The Cleopiedra necklace is amazing on. Wanted to buy the entire store!! Good thing I was on a time limit. (:
I really wanted the Ibiza, but at the time, it was sold out on line….lot’s more to choose from.
I feel cooler just reading about this – hopefully incorporating some of your awesome tips will come next!
