Weekend plans

After all the lively engagement from the Runway Apparel necklace giveaway on my blog last week, (Oh, by the way ~ the winner was Kristie from Bair Medical Spa  ~ YAY and congrats!)  I am ready for a relaxing weekend. I’ve mentioned before that a relaxing weekend to me is also known as:

DIY WEEKEND!

Rather than making something for our home, I’m only going to focus on fashion-based projects.  Here are the projects I plan on making from some of my most favorite DIYers:

Ok, firstly I have a pair of similar boots in very good condition but I’m yawn ~ kinda over them, so I’m going to make these.  If you love the look as well, click here. Easy easy easy.  You might also want to try this project.  Brit + Co has some of the coolest DIYs around.

Do you have like 5 seconds to spare?  Then you can quickly make this:

Deco Cuff.  I have made many “an Erin” project and am always pleased with how they turn out.  Check out some of the other really great bracelet DIYs from Erin at Thanks, I Made It.

I know this is so Anthropologie of me… but I can’t resist. This Pom Pom embellished bag is pretty darn cute. There are lots of other fun projects on This Fashion is Mine.

The Graphic Word T is very on trend.  Mine’s going to say: YAAASSSSSS GAGA!   Don’t know why?  Come on, peeps ~ get current ~ here’s why.   I Spy DIY is a really creative site and on my next DIY weekend, I plan to make this.

I have an huge craft room full of fabrics, and bling, and findings, and glue sticks, etc.  I’ve been collecting and adding to this room for years.  Some might think it’s too much, that perhaps maybe somewhere along the line I got carried away… but really, I don’t think I have a problem.
