Some of you may have wondered…what’s up with the ponytail? I know, I know… how hard can it be to cut and/or style my hair? “We never see you any other way…”

My hair is a such a drag. I wash it, moisturize it, comb it, dry it, curl it, thicken it, straighten it, tease it, pin it, gloss it, style it…and the second I step outside – it’s all over with. So then, it goes right back in a ponytail – where it should have started in the first place.
Since my hair is so challenging, I will attempt to try to spice it up with some fun accessories. As any new “do” only lasts for a matter of moments – I’d rather not invest too much time, energy or money in it. This is why I ♥ easy DIY hair accessory projects.

It always annoys me that women get to do all the cool things with their hair, and I’m expected to be happy with the ponytail and a boring little black band. (I could just let it go loose, but it would probably scare the folks in the office.)
Of course, doing it right is a lot of work, so maybe it’s just as well. I should do something besides black, though. Live dangerously.
